Reviewing a construction-stage submission
What to check before recording a stage decision.
Confirm the property and requested stage
Check the loan reference, building and unit or plot against the evidence. A registration identifier alone does not establish that the photographs show the financed property.
Review the evidence and its source
Guided capture, builder uploads and historical file uploads have different limitations. Read the capture and location results, inspect the photographs, and request missing views.
Compare relevant previous evidence
Run the comparison for the same property and stage. Open both images and review the highlighted regions. Lighting, viewpoint and moved objects can also explain a difference.
Record questions and the decision
Request clarification where evidence is incomplete. Record the reviewer’s interpretation and prepare the Stage Verification Report. Your lender’s authorised team decides whether to release funds.
